New Airline Routes Launched in July and August 2024: Global Connectivity Expands

In July and August 2024, airlines worldwide have expanded their networks with several notable new routes, reflecting the ongoing recovery and growth of the aviation industry.

Asia-Pacific Highlights:

  • T'Way Air

    , a South Korean low-cost carrier, has added new European routes, including flights from Seoul Incheon to both Rome and Paris. The Rome route started on August 8, while the Paris route begins on August 28, with further plans to expand to Barcelona and Frankfurt in September and October​.

  • Hainan Airlines

  • Austrian Airlines

    has launched daily flights from Boston to Vienna, adding to the robust transatlantic connections from Boston​.

  • Air India

    introduced a new route from Bengaluru to London Gatwick, which started on August 18, further strengthening its presence in the UK market​.
